On strike today and just sat down to watch Corrie. Just reflecting, thinking on my day, it’s been pretty much perfect.
Didn’t have to get up early so could cuddle up with DH.
Eventually, we got up at about 11.
Weighed myself and had lost a couple of kg from last week.
He made us coffee. I put out food for birds and we watched them whilst drinking our coffee.
Made a lovely brunch with Burford brown eggs.
Went to gym. Arms and shoulder weight day which is my favourite workout.
The walk there and back was lovely , the weather was good, and had time to appreciate the snowdrops and daffodils in the park.
Home for a protein shake.
Made home made cauliflower soup.
On MN for an hour, DH made more coffee.
Had the soup along with a fresh salad with avocado and ham.
In my VR for 30 mins cardio.
Shower and hair wash with all my favourite products.
Changed the bedding so all nice and fresh for later.
Fetched a beer for DH and a G&T for me.
Just going to chill for rest of evening now.
Would love to hear about your perfect day? It could be one you have had or one you would like to have. In my earlier life, a perfect day would have been one with more than two hours uninterrupted sleep, no final reminder bills, and shoes without holes in the soles.
