They are rebranding Lilt to Fanta.

I am also irrationally irritated by the name change.
I have a 500ml bottle as part of my extended lunch break meal deal treat every Friday!
Although if it’s now Fanta will we be able to buy it in Europe? I end up drinking coke all holidays as I don’t like the alternatives!

In the 80s I was one of those kids that collected 20 lilt ringpulls, sealed them in an envelope with the p and p money and awaited the arrival of my totally tropical cassette!

I haven't had lilt for years. Not since they took all the sugar out and replaced it with manky sweeteners. I bloody loved it and all. Lilt and ribena were my absolutely favorites, both ruined. Fucking Jamie Oliver. ----

Stopped drinking it when I became vegetarian over 20 years ago

Don't know why lilt would continue to be unsuitable for vegetarians when all other fizzy drinks seemed to be fine, very odd

Will have to check whether the new fanta is lilt under another name or if it's suitable for vegetarians
