I would just like to record that

My child has refused a tablet or TV (restricted so not bored of it) in favour of tidying up the house and doing his homework (he is 4.5). It probably will never happen again but my jaw also needs sweeping from the floor along with the glitter. I feel like I may wake up in a minute. Has your child done anything surprising today?

My ASD ds had his first meltdown in a supermarket last night and we both handled it well. Imo! Assume it won't be the last but I can remind myself if we managed 1 OK we can keep going!

This sounds like the time my 5yo declared she didn't like cake and would much rather have some blueberries 😱

My DGD told me she was going to do the vacuuming and dusting. She is 4.9 years.

Well done sometimes the expectation can be worse than the reality.remember this day when and if you feel it didn't go so well.

Maybe it's an age thing. I used to hoover a lot as a child.
