My Toddler has recently been asking if she can have a friend over to play - she often mentions the names of the children she plays with however I have absolutely no idea who their parents are.. and nursery have a policy of not giving out information (rightly so obviously) - but how do I find out who the parents are to ask for a play date?

I did think about asking the staff ti pass on a note? But would that be weird.. it feels like it’s the only way🥲

Ask the nursery to pass on your details, usually via email. It’s what ours does - then the parents can get in touch with you if they’re happy about it

Just ask the staff to give them your details or like you've said, write them down and ask if they can pass it to the child's parents

A note or ask nursery to pass your details is fine 👍

We sent notes, we've got our first play date this week with someone from nursery

Send notes, or put a post-it with your phone number on the child's peg/cubbyhole explaining you're parent of X.

Or ask if you can start a nursery whatsapp group and put details up on the noticeboard for people to join, then you can say "Is X's mum in here? Can you message me?"
