Who was this person? A celebrity?

I was out for my lunch today and there was a gentleman in the restaurant who I’m sure I recognised. Now maybe he gets the same bus as me or maybe he is someone famous?

He was:
Early 70s
White shaggy hair (lots of it)
white eyebrows.
In glasgow
if I had to bet he’s something to do with sport.

anyone know who he might be?

I worked it out by googling football commentators. I think it was Gordon strachan. Although why I would know what he looks like or recognise him I do not know.

My husband now tells me that he was too old and thin in the face to be Gordon strachan.

so we have three possibilities:

  1. it was and he’s had a hard week
  2. he was just a random bloke who looks a bit like Gordon strachan
  3. captain birdseye.
