I’m trying to get our photos organised and off the phone! I’d like to do a photo book for each year and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a good quality product. Definitely hardback. I think each year will have about 300-400 photos…is this even possible? Are glossy or mat pages better?

Or does anyone have any other clever suggestions I’ve not thought about? Tia!

I was given some photobooks from photobox and they were lovely. I don't know if they do ones up to 400 pictures though, would it not be easier to just get albums and send all the photos to print?
Sites like free prints are good for that, I print mine off my phone with photobox and then stick them in albums- mosy because I like being able to write the date and stuff on the backs

I make one on Photobox every year. I do the 100 page ones and vary the layouts, so some pages have one big picture and other have up to 5 pictures on. I just get the standard paper.

I've used Snapfish for years, and some of the hardcover formats go up to 150 pages, so plenty for your project.

I find them very easy to use and there are always offer codes, so don't be put off by the price - I don't think I've ever paid more than 50% of the original price.

You can edit the photos too, with colour correction, different tones (black and white, sepia etc) and cropping.

Thanks for ideas
@whereiwanttobe I was looking at the snapfish ones - which size do you recommend?

The 11x8" ones are the ones I go for. Just check the maximum number of pages as some only go to 100.

You can just drag all the photos you want to use onto a particular page and then use 'Shuffle' to suggest different arrangements. I'd generally go for no more than 5 or 6 per page, but it's also nice to do big single display ones if you have a particular favourite, or smaller ones in a strip - blowing out candles on a party cake for instance.

And then there are lots of backgrounds to choose from, and some embellishments which I don't use often as I like the more traditional look, but they have been fun for a couple of smaller books I've done.

Plus text of course.

I spend hours doing them, and now get asked to do them for family events, which I love.
