Looking for recommendations for my two DC (6&4) for a tablet or games console. Last year we got them an Amazon fire and it may just be me but I found it quite difficult for them (and me if I'm honest as I'm rubbish with technology haha). I tried to download some games for them but they all seemed quite obscure games that they didn't know how to play, plus a lot of the games seemed to need an internet connection which isn't helpful when we're out and about.
I think part of the problem is that they've never really had much screen (apart from tv) time so are probably classed as a bit behind with knowing how to use them.
It's not something that they will be using all the time but I ideally am looking for something that can be used in the car for long journeys or if we go out to eat and they need distracting. Any recommendations greatly received!
