How can I raise morale? Or simply just cheer even one person up?

As the title. Currently working for an organisation undergoing a restructure. Its all quite stressful. I don't have management responsibilities but I feel a responsibility as a human being to try and lift up people around me if I can.
Anyone got any bright ideas?

I’m in an industry that goes through restructures on a fairly regular basis. It has been a couple of years since the last one, so we’re expecting another to be announced at any minute.

I think that if you really want to help your colleagues, I’d concentrate more on the practicalities rather than trying to cheer people up. Like maybe getting permission from your boss to hold a short session on updating competencies if they have to reapply for their jobs (there’s usually one person who is brilliant at it) and making sure everyone is aware of any employee assistance programmes the company might have. Make sure everyone is aware of the redundancy policy and exactly what entitlements your company offers. I think people will cope better and be happier if they’ve got some form of control over their situation, rather than someone trying to cheer them up, even with the best of intentions.
