We (DH, x2 DC and I) live around 2 hrs away from my family (DH's live about 6 hrs away and we visit them rather than them coming here).
My mum is coming to stay over half term so I can work rather than having to take time off....First time I asked for help in 9 years!
I love her to bits but she's a bit judgemental when it comes to house keeping. My house is lived in and not a show house but today I've deep cleaned the kitchen, gone over the kitchen walls in white paint and gutted the living room, kids rooms and spare rooms. Anyone would think we have royalty coming to stay.
Plesse tell me I'm not the only one who only has a pristine house when someone else is coming to stay?!
