My 7 year old adored The Secret Garden, the oldie and the remake! (Still think the oldie was better Grin )

I specified the original 1995 one which is a PG and common sense media parents and children both rate it as suitable for age 8. As opposed to the newer Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle from the last couple of years which is a 12A (PG-13 in the US) and common sense media parents and kids rate as 12+ and 11+ respectively.

Yes, that’s the one I’m referring to. The one with Robin Williams. I watched it with my 10 and 12 year old. The 8 year old would have found it much too frightening. Obviously every child is different, but it seems more frightening than most of the other suggestions on here.

But I’m just repeating myself 🤷‍♀️
