Help me with ribs

What can I do with ribs I was going to make bbq ribs . But I can't get hold of molasses. Is there an alternative? I can only get to my local co op as my son is not well . But I can leave him with dd for 10 mins or so. Or any other idea what I could do with rips . I have included the recipe so you cam see what I'm doing .

You don't need molasses, tomatoes, sugar, vinegar and spices will do. Just make sure to boil it hard so you get the stickiness.

Have a look for other bbq sauce recipes online, there's so many variations. You'll find one which uses what you have available.

Dark treacle is reasonably close.

I'm doing it in a pressure cooker . So there's no boiling really
