I’m on day 3 of acyclovir for cold sores. It’s my first time using them - I’ve just used the cream in the past but I’ve been getting them more frequently so thought I’d give the tablets a go. Yuck. I feel so nauseous. It says to finish the course - is it bad not to? Is it like not finishing antibiotics? They are definitely working for the cold sore but I’m not sure it’s worth the nausea! Any experiences?
