I've stupidly let my 3.5yr nap from 3.15 and he's still knocking out the zzz's

Tonight is Gona be so bad. I can't decide whether to wake him and deal with the likely tears, give him his dinner and play etc u til probably 10 or 11pm
OR just let him sleep?!

But he will obviously not sleep all night since he slept from 3.15.

WHY have I done this to myself?! Oh goodddd help

Could he be sickening for something?
I think I'd be inclined to wake him, and just put bedtime back to a later hour.

We have all had a bit of a cough and cold and my he has a very mild hand foot and mouth episode given to him by his baby brother.
Another child in his nursery class has strep a.

So I was thinking maybe the sleep would do him good if he does have something going on.

He just stirred and I thought he was wakening up but no..

Ah yes, perhaps he needs the extra, sleep then. My little ones always sleep more when feeling poorly or sickening for something. But 3 hours is quite a long time so close to bedtime. I'd wake him and see how he feels, and just take his cues for the rest of the evening. See how he feels after dinner, whether he wants to stay up late or not.

At least it's Friday - no work tomorrow (unless you are a shift worker or in retail of course).

Me and DH were Gona have a takeaway but I think we will leave that until tomorrow now as we won't get to enjoy it.

He woke up a wee while ago and is pretty wild. Pray for me lol
