Ideally something quick/easy to prepare, but still nice Smile

We always get a 3-course Tescos Finest Meal deal, or the equivalent from M&S or Waitrose. They often have a valentine theme and come with a bottle of wine. We rarely have ready meals, so its just a bit of ironic fun to do something different.

@idio I forgot the supermarkets tend to do something like this! I'll be getting an Asda delivery on Monday, will see if they're offering something Smile

Garlic, chilli and parsley prawns with a side of French stick to dip in the sauce

Fillet steak, triple cooked home made chips, peppercorn sauce with a side of mushrooms cooked in the steak juices

Simple chocolate brownie (I'll buy two especially from Lidl, they're amazing) and vanilla ice cream

I'm not a very adventurous cook but I can do the above well Blush

We usually do duck of some sort, or steak, bought pudding

My DP does steak with three cheese and bacon dauphinois for any special days! It’s my favourite and the dauphinois can be made in advance so sort of quick!
