EFlorist - awful dead flowers.

It was my birthday at the beginning of the week, my DW ordered a bouquet of flowers from EFlorist, to be delivered on Monday for me. The cost was £45 (yes I know but she's disabled and online shopping is the only type of shopping that she can do).
Needless to say, they didn't arrive on Monday, we tracked them over half of the UK - it actually became quite funny to see where they had been sent next. When they finally turned up on the doorstep, late on Tuesday evening, they had been on the road for 3 days. They were battered and three-quarters dead and comprised of 5 white rosebuds and 3 or 4 sprigs of purple freesia. For 45 quid.
DW was so embarrassed. I didn't really care - it was the thought that counted- and we did get the money back after sending in a picture in of the "bouquet ".
We had used EFlorist previously, about 3 years ago and they were fine then, but looking on TrustPilot, every review is one star with a litany of late deliveries of dead flowers, so don't use them.
I attach the picture of what I was supposed to receive, as to what I actually received!

And? What is the point if this? They refunded you the cost.

I imagine the OP is warning others about poor service so they can avoid using this company. Pretty clear.

Just use your local florist in future. These online florists are always a rip off.

That's awful! Was this a post-box bouquet?

I've used eFlorist for years.

The bouquets I've ordered are created and delivered by florists local to the recipient.

They have always been, at least, as described and on more than one occasion have exceeded expectations.

Glad, though, for the heads-up! Will check reviews to see if it's a particular product causing issues.

I've sooooo many birthdays/events in March and April .... don't want recipients to be disappointed.

Those flowers will look a lot different in a few days when they have all opened up.

The delivery delay wasn't acceptable though 😊

I don't agree with worried, I don't think they'll look that much better. Glad you got a refund. Atrocious service.
