I didn't know anything about this eye treatment called KAMRA inlay until a friend of mine told me that she's going to have it so that she could stop wearing them glasses she wears for her presbyopia.

Anyone had this or know anyone who did? This is like Lasik surgery?

Yes, KAMRA inlay is a relatively new procedure. Approved in recent years. In the past 5 or 6 years. KAMRA inlay could be perceived as a true solution to presbyopia as I know someone who'd this. For that person, there weren't any side effects. And the result? Well, her near vision has been restored. Without affecting long-distance vision. Now, she doesn't even have to wear glasses. The KAMRA inlay method involves implanting a small ring in your eye's cornea. You should see an optometrist to know more.
