Does such an app exist where I can put in how much petrol I've paid and the cost per litre so eg £60 at 149.9. And keep track of what I'm spending/using??

I don't have an app, but would be interested in one. At the moment I have an excel spreadsheet that does all kinds of calculations for me.

I use an app called AutoCare to track all my fuel usage.

Yes, it's called a fuel gauge. Normally found at the side of your speedometer, which normally also displays your mileage.

Plus the calculator on your phone will work out your litre to gallon cost.

If you pay by card, you can analyse your bank account to see how much you've spent on fuel in any particular period.

What is it you want to know?

I just fill my car when it's empty and reset the mileage indicator. Therefore I know it gets about 380 miles from a tank and that costs about £50, so about 13 p a mile, I used to have a company car where I bought my own fuel and claimed it back from work, so I liked to know whether the fixed rate I was allowed to claim covered what it actually cost me (often it didn't).

My MOT records show I do about 7000 miles a year, so based on the above, I spend around £75/80 a month on petrol.

I have no idea how many MPG my car does because I don't think I've ever bought petrol in gallons and I'm quite old so I don't know what use this information this would be to me.
