Hello all

New to occasional fasting here

20:4

Or a full day of fasting once a month to reset myself

Any experience or tips?

Is once a month ok for full fast or too much

I do intermittent fasting one month a year for religious reasons.

I also did a full water fast for three days once.

Hunger vanishes after 48/72 hours.
Taking vitamins doesn't break your fast and is recommended. As well as salt in water when you feel dizzy.

Don't so it if your bmi and/or fat level is below the healthy range.
Talk to your GP beforehand.

Its good to cleanse your system, reset your taste buds, get rid of some afductions as well. Very healthy if done properly.

It's not recommended if the main reason you want to do it is for weight loss. The drastic food deprivation and the speed of the weight loss will trigger a yoyo effect once you start eating normally again and you are likely to regain all the weight you lost (and sometimes more) very quickly if you're not extremely extremely careful
