I live near the chase and have never seen anything but I have spoken to people who claim they have
only one was ‘woo’
the others are too ‘logical’ to have made it up-they all said some parts are ok but other parts is where they saw ‘her’
all where in more or less the same place (my partner knows the chase well)
i first read about it in take a break-the monthly spooky magazine version
the article said they died from some illness and they don’t have enough energy to fully ‘light up’ ,hence the dark eyes and they follow people who remind them of people they knew while alive
last time we where there,we where walking my sons staffie and he point blank refused to go down this one path-he kept running back to us and wouldn’t allow us to go that way-he didn’t seem scared,just refused to go that way-we ended up going back on ourselves to get back to the car
i don’t know if he sensed something wrong or was just being a stubborn little git-knowing him,it was the latter
(my son lives near a field,miles away from the chase and often walks the dog there-he will not go in one corner-son read up on it and there has been at least two bodies found there over the years)
who knows?
