For a night out in Newcastle?

Staying slap bang in middle of town so no need for taxis etc.

Been years since I was up there last so unsure as to prices now.

What are you doing / where are you going?

Just up for the weekend with my DS and DB.

Already got things planned/booked for the day which are paid for - just looking at evening costs to budget. We are drinkers.

Don't want to spend all weekend in a 'Spoons, but also don't want to be paying £6 for a pint! 🤣

Was there 18 months ago and the nice bars were approx £5 lager £6 wine £7 cocktails. Tk me that's reasonable as it's more here in swanky places

£6 a pint is pretty reasonable around these parts!

So the North has finally caught up with the South! 🤣 I'm in Brighton and pay £5.50 for a pint of Moretti- nice pub too.

I lived in Newcastle 20 years ago. £2.10 a pint...Happy long ago days!

Will adjust budget accordingly.
