i recently met a guy I’m 39 he’s 51 , he’s lovely seemed to get on really well etc . So about 7 weeks in he said he thinks he’s well on the way to falling in love with me . Now all of a sudden on sat he couldn’t meet me he had a hangover . And he arranged to meet up last night but cancelled last minute saying he’s so stressed at work . I text him to ask if he wants to see me again he hasn’t responded . What shall I do

I think you should forget this one. You did nothing wrong, he's messing you about and using 'stress at work' as an excuse to ghost you.

Maybe you won't meet anyone 'nice'... but that doesn't mean you should settle for a weirdo..

He isn't nice, she even if you don't bin him you haven't found anyone nice. Give yourself a chance.
