I’m really tired of that sex toy advert ^^^

I suffered sex abuse and I don’t like how it’s put up there for me to accidentally click on it when I look at the lists of posts. Please get rid of it. I don’t want sex invading my safe chat spaces especially where I am thinking about my parenting decisions. If I want sex toys, I will look for them.

Agree with you OP. I find it very intrusive.
I know its just a one liner ad, but as I speed read the thread titles there it is over and over every time. Boring, and totally not in the right frame of mind for such products.

Agreed.not just the advert but the "promoted threads" that of course you can't hide unlike normal threads

If you install adblocker you won't see the promoted threads

Also, I access on my iPad or iPhone not on a PC/ laptop. Is there a way to use an adblocker on either of these devices?

I clicked on a thread about rimming by mistake last week: it seemed fairly evenly divided between posters saying mmm my lady loves it can't get enough of it can you describe what you'd like as a woman, and other posters saying, Not with my piles, thanks, mate.

Wasn't there a time when the Sex topic couldn't be listed in Active?

I noticed the other day that you only have to be a member for 7 days before being able to post on the sex topic. I'm sure it used to be a month.

But yes, I keep clicking on stuff I don't mean to because the bloody site jumps around so much. It's annoying and I'm sick of having to scroll past so much shite.

Isn't it quite something that suddenly now the sex topic is showing in active , only since these ads have started.

Iirc you had to be a member for a certain time to even access the sex threads. That must have changed too then I expect.

This is surely opening up the site to more trolling, rather than selling lots of vibrators.
