Hey guys,

I’m having my wisdom teeth removed and would love some recipes for smoothies and soups.

Thanks

I don't tend to use recipes for smoothies, but here are my regular go-to smoothies:

2 bananas, a desert spoonful of peanut butter, a couple of spoons of yoghurt, and milk.
2 bananas, a couple of passion fruits, some yoghurt and milk.
Half a tin of peaches, and a large handful of defrosted raspberries from the freezer, plus yoghurt and milk
Today I had stewed rhubarb and defrosted strawberries with milk and yoghurt - not quite so good, a bit tart!

Things that can be cut up, that will keep their shape and can be swallowed easily are better than creamy liquids, at least for the first week. I stick to things like hot dogs and tinned peaches. But I don't get bored eating the same thing every day and that really helps.
After that I avoid anything with pips and sieve everything liquid. Asda sell 1l tubs of plain yoghurt that taste OK, and you can just add some concentrated fruit juice for flavour.
Miso soup is tasty and makes a nice change. Its cheaper to buy a pack of genmai miso and make your own, but you can usually buy big packs of single serving cup soups on ebay.
