Well the time has come and quite frankly I am relieved

I had a lot of dental work done about twenty years ago. Crowns and bridges, teeth whitening - the lot. To be fair I have not had a lot of luck with my teeth and over time have suffered with toothache.
Last week two front teeth and the post supporting them fell out. I wear a plate for the side teeth so the actual teeth are now down to three at the front.
Yesterday I saw a dentist. I will be having the three teeth removed and a denture fitted and I can not wait !
No more pain. No more fillings and no more expense. I can also choose my teeth and can smile again.

I now have one or two on a top plate but I hate it! I just can't afford implanta at the moment. There will come a time when I will start and have a couple of implants at a time done. Glad you are pleased.

I can't afford implants and to be honest, I don't want them. I can choose the shape and size of my teeth and enjoy smiling again. At the moment I have this huge gap at the front and feel uncomfortable going out of my house. People look at your teeth and make an instant judgement.

I'm glad you are happy with the way forward.

I have a plate , and I need to ask other plate wearers, how you ever get used to it. Mine has been altered 3 times now. And there is so much i can't eat with it in

But just yesterday I had 4 more front teeth removed and implants components placed. I had only one tooth on my plate prior. I'm not singing and dancing today I must admit.

I have more now added on to the plate but have to wait a week before I can wear it. It will be back to mask wearing for me .

I have a partial plate and the only way I got used to wearing it was to stop with the fixative. I have been wearing it for seven years and it feels fine but t the beginning it was uncomfortable. This is why I know I will be fine with the full plate.
