Missing 11 year old - Galashiels, Scotland

Kaitlyn Easson was last seen on CCTV at Starbucks, Galashiels at 18.15 last night. She was alone and she has not been seen since. There is an unconfirmed sighting of her near the Queens Centre on Melrose Road which is the route she would have taken to go home to Langlee which is around a mile away.

So worrying for her family.
I hope she is simply with friends and doesn’t have phone signal and/or is too thoughtless to contact her parents. She is so young.

Kaitlyns phone was out of battery or switched off. It's been 26 hours now and nothing. There's a huge police presence and a public search group of some 400 people. The search and rescue boats have been in the local river, police helicopter has been up and circling during the day (I think I heard it again not too long ago) mountain rescue are out and the K-9 unit have been out.

Her poor parents must be absolutely frantic with worry.

Poor girl, I really hope she's safe and well. Whoever she is with must KNOW her family are frantic. This is not OK whatever the circumstances.

I hope she is found safe and well. I will never forget the morning in 2001 when I stood watching the TV as I was doing the ironing and seeing the face of a 10 year old I knew flash up as she was missing with her friend, news like this always makes my blood run cold.

@RoonilWazlib21 she doesn't even have a coat on, I know that's not a huge factor but where can she be?! It was freezing last night. I keep checking the fb search page hoping for good news.
