Do I need to seek medical advice or just get a grip?

I feel silly to ask. But basically, I have come on as usual and I'm absolutely flooding. In a lot of pain.

My periods are usually like clockwork, aren't painful and last 4/5 days. I've never had a painful period except for when I was about 10/11 and they were first starting

What on earth is going on? Like contraction pain in labour, it is quite bad and I'm bleeding really heavily

It's normal right? I'm not about to bloody die? Blush

Trust your gut. Ring 111 for advice, sorry you're going through this right now :-(

Could you be miscarrying?

How long is it taking you to fill a pad/tampon?

Vaginal bleeding so heavy it soaks at least one pad or tampon an hour for more than two hours then you should be seeking medical advice.

This could possibly be age related but consult a doctor.

Thank you. I haven't had sex in about 9 weeks and regular cycles since then so dint think I could be miscarrying
