Anyone been to Egypt? Recommendations on sim card buying at airport - how much do I need??

Hi ... I've learnt that I need to get a local sim card for my mobile when I get to the airport there. And swop it in for the duration.

Some questions:

1. Is Vodaphone the best network, as I've heard for coverage?
2. How many cards or gigabytes do you get? I gather the wifi is likely to be very poor at the hotel and will be doing things like watching Netflix, Zooming with mates and a couple of work calls... so am likely to use it a lot for the 3 weeks I am there
3. Do all my WhatsApp contacts just transfer normally or ???
