I feel a bit sick :(

Just made flapjacks, the recipe for which requested 150g of condensed milk. The cans are 300g. Somehow between me spooning the leftovers from the can into a Tupperware, they have ended up in my mouth...

I feel so sick now, and even worse its dinner in 10 mins and I can't let anyone know about The Incident. So I can't decline it!

Hahahaha this has made me laugh as I can totally imagine this being me too! I bet every mouthful was worth it at the time! Think hungry thoughts and hopefully dinner will go down ok!

Oh anything with condensed milk in it does this to me (by does this to me I mean it finds its way into my belly and then I feel sick). Ditto butter icing.

Dinner might do you some good and may settle your tummy if it's something not too rich? Good luck and God speed!

Dinner has helped! I've also asked my partner to make the icing for the flapjacks, so no other incidents can take place.

Iced flapjacks you say? Suddenly flapjacks found much more appealing!

Flapjacks with icing?! What heavenly invention is this?…

LivingDeadGirlUK · 04/02/2023 19:08

They are lemon flapjacks with a drizzle of lemon icing on them!

They look amazing… although I would forget that delicate drizzle of icing over the top… I’m all in for a good old thick layer of icing spread over the top of that flapjack!

My delicate drizzle was more of a sploge tbf. They are delicious though!
