Taking my aunt out for dinner or tea in London. Want to take her somewhere where the service is wonderful and she'll feel special.

I'm thinking beautiful surroundings and presentation.

Any recommendations? I'm happy to spend if worth it.

Claridge's. The service is second to none, and the surroundings are beautiful. But you will need to book well in advance.

When you say 'tea' do you mean afternoon tea, or dinner?!

And how much is your ideal budget? Where will you be travelling from/into?

Lanesborough

The Ritz and Savoy are wonderful for afternoon tea. The early evening slot at the Ritz includes a glass of champagne.

(Fingers crossed you're my niece 😁)

Afternoon tea at the Pan Pacific in London was absolutely incredible - so well presented and something a little bit different which we loved. The room was stunning too, it's all delicious and the staff were attentive and really lovely.

Doesn't get nicer than this in my view:

I think afternoon tea would be too rich so thinking more a meal.

She lives in London so we'd get a taxi into town.

Second the Ritz, also Fortnums.

Ahhh apologies, I did think the first question was for an afternoon tea! For a meal I'd recommend Hakkasan in Mayfair is absolutely delicious for a meal! The feasting style menus are amazing. Great atmosphere, the staff again are really knowledgeable and the service is worth the price.

Clardige’s. No time limit. Ritz has short sittings and is like a conveyor belt.

What's the budget?
