Somebody was asking about the size of Curly Wurly bars nowadays compared to years ago but I can't find the thread.
The size of Creme Eggs and Waggon Wheels is normally explained away by us having much smaller hands when we used to buy them when we were kids. But here's the early 1970s advert showing the original Curly Wurly size. And it cost 3p. A packet of crisps or a Twix we're both 2.5p at the time I think and Blackjacks and Fruit Salads were (I think) FOUR for 1/2p.
