Streaming music options

I was offered a free Amazon prime subscription to unlimited music and it's about to expire.

The changes to amazon music for the prime basic subscribers are beyond shit. The recent changes meaning you can't skip a track or choose what you listen to are outrageous and there's no way I'm paying amazon for the service.

What are my options? Listening to music is my joy in the evenings and my music library is wondrous. What are my options for listening to music?

Not sure about the answer, to be honest.

Oh how I miss iTunes where I had a fantastic running track.

I usually go for the free trials of Amazon music, Spotify & Apple Music but often have gaps of time with nothing as I'm not keen on a regular subscription.

I still have a few ipods with my gym tunes on. Its brilliant I dont need to use data or phone battery listening to music when I'm on long walks, gym visits or teain journeys.
