Hello, I did look at Mumsnet Local Winchester but it's dead.

How do you go about finding reliable trades in Winchester? I'm looking for someone to fix the leaking roof in a relative's conservatory and don't know where to start (don't live there). Is there a local forum for this sort of thing? Or better still does anyone know a great roofer who would work in Winchester?

Darren Raymond is a very good roofer local to Winchester. Sometimes with conservatories you need to go to the conservatory company that installed it originally though so a normal roofer might not be able to help.
