Bed pillows that don't go flat. Do they exist?!

YoungMouse · 02/02/2023 21:48

I've bought two different sets of pillows that were highly rated on amazon but they've both in time gone completely flat and lumpy. I can't afford to spend hundreds on pillows but would like to find some that actually fill the pillow case after 6 months of use. Can anyone recommend? No animal feather recs please.

They do exist, they are called iGel Side Sleeper Deep pillows and they are fab. I've had mine for 5 years and it's still full and it stays cool so you don't have to flip it! Not cheap (£75) but so worth the outlay.

I honestly don't have £300 to spend on pillows as I need 4.

Following as I also believe this to be an impossible feat.

I feel like unless you've got hundreds to spend on pillows it's impossible.

Are they firm or squishy?

Have you tried hotel suppliers for durability I use this company (after searching for the labels in a rather posh hotel😆)

I've had these for a few years now and they have kept their shape:

When I looked they all seemed to be feather/down pillows. But will try again!

I have spent a lifetime searching for the perfect pillow. Thought I had found it with the Panda pillow but it brought me out in hives as it turns out I am allergic to memory foam. I now have a buckwheat pillow which is amazing. You can make a little indent to suit and it stays like that all night. Firm but perfectly shaped to your head. I paid £35 from Putnams.

caringcarer · 02/02/2023 22:03

Thick memory foam.ones keep their shape.

The first ones are hollowfiber (100% polyester).

Ariautec · 02/02/2023 22:20

And the ‘clusterball’ are polyester too.

Mine are very old from John Lewis and are still as bouncy as the day I bought them.

TheRookie · 02/02/2023 22:24

Do you actually sleep on 4 pillows? We only sleep on one each, so the back 2 pillows are just normal pillows, slumberdown medium firm I think, £12 for 2 in Tesco on clubcard deal, it's does tatter which tho as they don't get flattened. The one I sleep on is memory foam from TK maxx, £20! My husband likes an extremely flat pillow tho!!! His is old!

RiverSkater · 02/02/2023 22:25

I think they were called bounce back or something like that?

OntarioBagnet · 02/02/2023 22:31

I like the dorma memory foam one, got it from Dunhelm. Better than the panda one or the Tempur cloud.

evemillbank · 02/02/2023 22:32

Yes! Form M&S. I'm really surprised to be honest. They are still so so high i

You won’t regret it! Came across them at a holiday cottage and had to buy some for home!

I got one a few years ago after a recommendation on here. It's brilliant, maintained shape and doesn't give me neck ache.
