Permanently cold at home!

I work from home and I've found that I am CONSTANTLY cold. I try to not to put the heating on but when I do it still does not warm me up. I'm currently wearing a full tracksuits with a dressing gown and slippers and I'm still freezing. Any advice?!

Woolly hat
scarf
Heated gilet
Heated throw
oil filled radiator in the room you're working in
wool -socks, jumper, fingerless mittens

Heat pad for floor
Heat pad for chair

i think if you're not regularly having the heating on, it takes a while to heat the fabric of the house, for the heating to heat up the rooms when you just put it in for short bursts.

If your house is warm but you aren't, then try heating yourself from the inside out- hot drinks, a warm bath, warm foods, moving about. Then when you are warm, you need to keep your body heat in. Fleece jumpers, thermal leggings and socks, plus slippers and lots of thinner layers. If your house isn't warm, then consider warming just the area you're in- maybe long curtains around your work area to make a little bubble of heat?

Keep your feet warm and have a hot water bottle at the base of your back when you're sitting at your desk.

Heated throws are fab but rely on you have about £50 spare to buy one.

I have it on 18 most of the time and this helps just to keep it warm for the most part of the day. I know it costs to have the heating on but it's better than being ill and there are risks associated with being in the cold all the time.

Same. I have a small electric heater in the room I work from. I have a smart meter so I know it costs about 14p an hour to run.

That room is toasty but the rest of the house is freezing.

I hate being cold.

An oodie with turtle dove wrist warmers.
I never need the heater on and usually get too hot at some stage and need to take it off. Not the best look if you have to make client calls though!

Oodie knock off from
Amazon.

Hot water bottle.

Go for a walk, even a small one, before work and at lunchtime. Do heavy housework like vacuuming.

It's absolutely miserable to be sat down cold all day. We wouldn't tolerate it in an office, it's awful so many people are having to do this to themselves because they WFH. We used to spend a lot on petrol for commuting, so now we use some of the saved petrol money on keeping us comfortable.

Hotwater bottle. And walk around when on the phone.
