How to guage oval dish of food by 5 when serving up

Shepherd's pie at the weekend for 5. I'll make it in a dish that will hold enough for 5, but it's oval and I have no idea how to divide it equally when I serve it up! (Or even more or less equally)

The dish is the right size for 5 adults, but I can't visualise how to dish it up! If it were 4 of us then it'd be easy, I'd guage half in one direction and half in the other and that gives me 4 portions.

I found a fab bit of geometry online for dividing a rectangle into fifths by eye, but there's nothing there for an oval.

Bloody 5ths I just can't do! Help me.....

Divvy to 6 in your mind - horizontally through the middle, then 2 vertical lines across the horizontal cutting the ends off, then add a bit of the 6th to each of the 5.
