Costume help: Luna girl and night ninja

We are hopeless with creating costumes, but DS reeeaaalllly wants me and DH to go to his party as Night Ninja and Luna Girl from PJ Masks.

Any ideas how we could craft something simple without spending a fortune??

Could you get some navy silk PJs? Cheap off vinted or something similar hot glue gun some sparkly stars all over?

I bought a pair of navy velvet star pyjamas from eBay as the base

I'm desperately trying to attach the photo but it's not working!!

Happy to rummage in our fancy dress box if you want!!!

It was summer so I chopped arms off then used those for the mask
