best place to live in UK that isn’t property related.

I’ve been around the UK a bit and have noticed it isn’t as simple as ‘expensive houses’. Some of these are quite soulless and empty of life, yet many lower income areas are decent.

Where do you think is a great place to live that isn’t all jolly-robins in the Cotswolds? 😆
I very much enjoyed Shrewsbury, Falmouth, Edinburgh and Bowness on Windermere. Sadly the latter seems a bit rougher these days with a fair bit of anti social behaviour about.

Then again, I sometimes wonder if there’s anywhere else left that isn’t growing an asbo problem. My mum lives in a little village in the lakes near Grasmere and says a lot of issues are growing even there, especially since the pandemic. I have noticed a few places going downhill here in Shropshire that were previously ok, but can’t really figure out why.

When you find out let me know ! Looking to move out of Birmingham .We have been looking at new builds in Honeybourne but the crime stats aren’t as low as you would think and the nearest dr’s is miles away . A vets and drs in walking distance is a must as I don’t drive .Can manage without anything else I think !
