Do you have anything planned for Valentine's day?

Just realised it's Valentine's day soon. Thinking about taking dh away for a few days as a surprise and getting him a few thoughtful gifts.

What do you have planned?

We went away last Weekend so for valentines we are just going out for dinner and doing cards.

I'm hoping for flowers tho 😜

It’s our first valentines (was very early stages of dating last year) and he’s booked a fancy restaurant and a hotel. All very unexpected but exciting!

Absolutely nothing at all.
Just the same as always.
It's commercialized shit.

Since having kids we always go all together for a romantic family dinner to Pizza express.. bring on the heart shaped dough balls

Every day is Valentine's day in our house

Nothing, I'm in the commercialised shit camp and I'm not paying an extra £20 ph for a set menu because it's Valentine's Day!

DH said we should celebrate because we are sex starved.
I'm not going to over analyse this statement 😂

Will have a nice meal and champagne Prosecco at home. After years in hospitality I would never go out for a meal on any 'special' occasion.

DS's 7th birthday!

Although even if it wasn't I doubt we'd do anything other than exchange cards. It's always pretty cringe to me.

Nope we never do anything for valentines. It's in half term so we'll be in a UK holiday park with the kids!

Yes! And I can’t wait! I’m flying to Australia for a month to see my best friend and leaving DH at home. It’s my Valentines gift to him.
