We live fairly close by, so thinking of going for the day as we haven’t been for a few years.
where would you recommend? We have done the Castle before.

It's been many years since I have been but I found the Pitt Rivers Musuem brilliant.

Christchurch meadow and university parks are both nice for a walk (and free). I really like Modern Art Oxford but haven’t been in ages so not sure what they’ve got there now. I’d say you need around an hour and a half to do the whole thing.
The exhibitions in the Weston Library are usually worth visiting. Botanic Gardens maybe.

Pitt Rivers and the attached Natural History Museum.

Punting on the Thames if it’s a nice day is fabulous.

Both museums (Ashmolean) and Nat history/Pity Rivers are worth a visit.

You can book tours of some of the college buildings if you look online.

Oxford also has the hop on/off bus which is great. Especially if you get a live guide. There are walking tours too.

Thanks for the ideas. We have been to Pitt Rivers and loved it.
