Buying Kindle books.

Am I being really thick. The Amazon app, not the kindle app are letting me download more than a sample. Finished the sample and no option to but the rest of the book. Anyone else had this?

I get books for kindle from library, don't pay anything

I can never buy kindle books on the app - I have to go to Amazon via a web browser. Seems odd, given how techie they are and how easy they tend to make it to spend money with them.

I believe you have to actually log on to amazon.co.uk rather than the app to buy kindle books now. I had this problem a couple of weeks ago and customer service told me kindle books no longer available via the app.......something to do with geo locking? 🤷‍♀️ I might have confused what he said........anyway I logged on via web page and had no problem buying my books.

I buy mine on the Amazon app like PP, then it downloads into my kindle automatically.

If your app is only allowing you to download samples - is your kindle library full? Is your card set up for payments and authorised for buying the kindle books?

You can't buy books from either the Kindle or Amazon apps any more.

This is because Apple and Google both charge apps for purchases made through them so Amazon removed the ability to buy that way. You'll need to go to the Amazon website on your phone and buy the ebook that way (it'll automatically get sent to your Kindle/phone whatever).

This is exactly the issue I'm having.
