Newish McDonald's Ad

The one with all the raised eyebrows - very annoying, and what about the guy who when he "gets the call" heaves his laptop off his desk!? He's only going for lunch, he's going to be screwed when he gets back after an hour.
And while I'm here, I have a thing about the Verisure ads - does anyone else detect a veiled hint/subtle threat in the latest one when the woman on the doorstep says to a passing neighbour: "You should get one, Linda!" (subtext - or I'll come round and burgle you when you're out).

Edgar Wright directed that new McDonald’s one. I quite like it - it’s definitely evocative of that “Ooooh, do you fancy (dirty lunch of choice)??” feeling at work.

I HATE that McDonalds advert. I also can’t stand the Bold ad where the Dad goes on a date, or that awful Head and Shoulders one. I won’t buy the products out of principle.

I think the actors in the Verisure ads are recruited from the same agency that supplies the non regular roles in Doctors.....

McDonald's one made me laugh. Mostly because my son works in one and I imagined his reaction if that number of people arrived in one go.

Also don't mind the laptop sweep as it's the same overtly dramatic reactions we playact in work to entertain ourselves which helps deal with our type of work.

I know I'm taking it too seriously but the main thing that annoys me about it is surely if there was several of you ordering you'd just do it on the app rather than marching down there in a big group.

My guilty secret is I've watched the McDonald's ad on YouTube as I actually really like it Blush

I keep annoying ds by doing the eyebrow thing and the music at him at pretty much every opportunity I get.
