London Mumsnetters.... Bus question... Tower Bridge to Buckingham Palace..

I'm taking ds2 to a book launch at Tower Bridge next Saturday... Hope to go to Buckingham Palace to have a look outside afterwards...
He's not madly keen on the tube and he has a bus pass with a plus one so I thought it might be nice to go on the bus.. Is there a bus from TB to BP... If so where does it go from and too? Thanks in advance.

You could take the no15 bus from tower bridge to Charing Cross and walk down the mall, but would be a long journey (up to an hour). Jubilee line from London Bridge to green park much quicker - 20 mins. Hope he enjoys!

The number 15 goes from the Tower of London to Charing Cross station. It's a nice walk down the Mall from there to Buckingham Palace.
If you google ' TFL journey planner' you can get information on all transport for London routes

I'd take the Thames clipper boat, much nicer!

My kids prefer city mapper but I find this v user friendly. Map view shows you where the stops are too.
