Perimenopause

Does dry skin happen with peri menopause. I am 40 and I think I am in peri menopause. I woke this morning and I had dry skin like dandruff all over my face. I experience pins and needles all the time easily. I think maybe that might be something else to maybe indicate peri but I don't know. Looking for others who have been through peri to see what their symptoms are.

I’m 44 and think I might be staring the peri menopause. I’ve had very irregular periods for past 4 months but that coincided with contracting Covid for the first time in October so it could be that. My hair is very dry and my skin is dry too. I get very hot and red skin every evening around 8pm. My face looks like a beetroot. It’s bizarre.

You would be considered young to be in peri menopause and women shouldn't try and 'bend' symptoms to fit this because that's the way that other things are potentially missed

But yes. Dry skin and lots of other things can be related.
