Sick bay

Off work today for the first time in years with a horrible tonsil/sinus thing which ruined my weekend of fun. I’m drowning in snot and everything hurts but most of all I’m So. Fucking. Bored.

Anyone else joining me in sick bay today?

Same. Have had what could be described as the worst cold ever or flu. I felt like crap over the weekend. Already had two days off last week and yesterdat, but today as I am starting to recover I feel flat, grumpy and bored. I made rice pudding and hoovered around a bit. That was the highlight of my day. On a positive note both kids will be off school tomorrow because of the strikes, which will hoprfully make it feel more like a fun day off if I have the energy. Then fingers crossed back to normal on Thursday. Hope you feel better soon. Lots going round atm.
