Looking for others views -
Started a new job two weeks ago. In the interview I was I told there would be some travelling (think 40 mins or so)but as I understood it that it be not be too far. Fast forward to now and I think they are expecting me to travel 2 hours away !.
It would seem that that is what is expected. Spoke to colleague who works there and she said they advertised the job as pretty local travel but now she is expected to travel up to two hours away. This however is not how it works for all of the staff some get allocated visits much nearer to home.
Im telling them tomorrow it’s too much and unless they can propose nearer visits will have to leave- it’s a shame as apart from that it seems a lovely job :-( . Not looking forward to the conversation! Any tips anyone .
Just to add this was a part time job I have another one to fall back on luckily !!
