Dd and I were taking about doing something after her A levels next summer. And we think we'd like to do a cruise of Northern Europe- Norway/Sweden/Denmark and possibly Iceland. I think its called nordic cruising?
Maybe 7-14 days.

Now here is where I need help. There seem to be loads of different cruise companies so I have no idea who to really look at. Any done this trip? Who did you sail with? Do and don'ts ? Help

I would go onto youtube and search for norwegian cruises. This will bring up loads of videos of people on various cruiselines. This will give you and idea of what the different lines are like and the type of people that cruise on them

Look up cruise monkeys and cruise mummy on you tube. Very useful.

There are the really expensive lines like Azamara.

Then the premium lines like Princess & Celebrity.

Cunard also premium but with a British faux-posh thing going on.

P&O another British line but less premium quality, though very popular with Brits.

Royal Caribbean have these massive ships with amazing entertainment and zip lines and flow riders and what not, popular with youngsters, but regarded with horror by traditional cruisers.

Then there’s mass market like Marella.

There’s loads more but I don’t know that all. Price is going to be the best guide to quality.

www.cruisecritic.co.uk is what you need.

We cruised with our teenagers on Celebrity this summer. It was great and much better food than Disney. Was also surprisingly good price-wise given all drinks were included.

Thanks I've now spent the last 30 mins looking - so much choice!

Get a balcony room - that’s a must have.
