Weird names for things from childhood?

Does anyone else call things by weird names that nobody else understands?

We call vanilla slices Wet Nellies (think this is the name for some kind of bread pudding if you're from Liverpool which we're not).

And no idea why but evaporated milk - the horrible Carnation stuff has always been known to me as Caxy/Cacksy Brandy.

Slop-dashing!! I said it at work the other day and people looked at me weirdly!
It means making a mess with water/fluid. So when I used to pour stuff from one cup to another etc. My mum used to tell me to stop slop-dashing.

I've heard of slap dash, but not slop dash. I think I prefer yours 😂
