What are the chances of an Amazon parcel still turning up if its been cancelled?

I needed an item desperately and ordered Friday for next day delivery.

It didn't come Saturday and today there's was no dispatch on tracking so I've spoken to chat people a few times and they said it would arrive tomorrow.

One of the chat people, despite my entire conversations with them consisting of me saying how much I needed this item ASAP, has cancelled the order.

I've reordered but it won't arrive till Wednesday now (and I'm not even banking on that with the delays I've had with this order)

Is there any chance this one might show up still? It's with the courier 😭😭

No, after a Stop and Return Request is put on an item it won't be delivered.

I've had a few parcels turn up unexpectedly previously when I thought they wouldn't so was hoping they could still let it slip through :(

I had one that I contacted them to ask to be cancelled. It still turned up, with the note on it saying not to deliver 🙄so you never know!

It's dog food you see, a specific one as my dog has allergies.

They've ran out today and I've reordered but it won't come till Wednesday.

I made it clear I needed it but they cancelled it.

It's Barking heads. They can have the lamb or the fish-delish.

Hopefully it turns up, I know the feeling with that.

Is there anywhere else you can get it? I've found zooplus really good for fast delivery previously.

The bags are £65/70 so I don't have the money to place another order.

This is their monthly bag budgeted for.

I asked the amazon person several times if I will get the food and would it be cancelled and she said no.

Ah bloody hell, that's a nightmare. I didn't get refunded till after amazon had delivered, 4/5 days or something like that, so that's going to be a pain if it doesn't arrive.

Maybe not ideal, but pets at home seem to do the smaller bags at £15/16. Would it be an option, financially, to get a small bag to tide you by?

I've no experience of complaining to amazon but it's maybe worth a shot too.

I'm going to have to borrow some money to do that yeah.

I've spent £62 on the one that been cancelled and not arrived. Which is on the way to being refunded.

And another 62 on the new one, so am down double.

Then it's 15 for a bag plus bus fare and 2 hours on the bus.

Seriously annoyed 😂
