Stupid micro scooter question

How do i turn the helmet light on?! The other one has a button in the middle. I've checked and it's definitely supposed to be a light...

Is there an activation tag blocking the battery? You have to pull them out?

We have this one, you push the middle really hard, it doesn't click or anything. It's a stupid design.
