Offered slimming world by GP- better to do online or in person

I am a very online person (been a MNer for over 15 years since before kids) my work is also from home online

Also busy- have 4 dc
Which do you think is better ?

It depends if you need the accountability of going to a meeting to be weighed every week

I think statistically you are likely to be more successful going (and staying) to the meetings. Good to get exchange of ideas and inspiration from others doing well.

If you were self-accountable, you’d probably be doing it already …

I'd look to see when the meeting local to you are, if one fits well in your schedule, a real life weigh in is definitely more accountable than online. Otherwise, don't sign up to in person if you think you'll find it inconvenient.

The accountability of in person is just inconvenient enough to make it work in my experience.

Can I ask if the GP offered you any other support? I've tried Slimming World, Weight Watchers etc. before and it's never worked for me. I've been seriously considering asking my GP for help but is that all they offer?
